GEA-NZ Reference taxonomies modelling files

The GEA-NZ reference taxonomies provide useful lists of the ‘what’ for Business Architecture and Enterprise Architecture. They are part of the Government Enterprise Architecture for NZ (GEA-NZ). They are being replaced as part of a GEANZ 2024 framework refresh: https://catalogue.data.govt.nz/dataset/geanz-2024-framework

This dataset of the GEA-NZ reference taxonomy modelling files was produced from Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect version 15.2. The taxonomies are UML class models, and exported using XMI 2.5.1. (XML Model Interchange version 2.5.1 from 2015). These files include the taxonomy categories, relationships, model diagrams and additional context models. GUIDS for the categories are the same as in the XLSX and CSV files in the GEA-NZ reference taxonomies dataset.

The GEA-NZ government business capabilities and the GEA-NZ business reference taxonomy are being merged into the new GEANZ Common Business Capabilities model with is under development as part of the GEANZ 2024 framework update: https://catalogue.data.govt.nz/dataset/geanz-common-business-capabilities-model

The GEA-NZ Application and Software Services Reference Taxonomy and GEA-NZ Infrastructure Reference taxonomy are being merged into the new GEANZ Technologies model which is under development are being merged into the new GEANZ Common Business Capability Model with is under development as part of the GEANZ 2024 framework update: https://catalogue.data.govt.nz/dataset/geanz-common-business-capability-model

The GEA-NZ Data and Information Reference Taxonomy will have its own dataset and is called the GEANZ Data and Information model: https://catalogue.data.govt.nz/dataset/geanz-data-and-information-model.
