GEANZ 2024 framework

The Government Enterprise Architecture for NZ, GEANZ (Genes) is an architectural DNA to modernise, standardise, and simplify the public service while making the most of government investments.

GEANZ is a holistic framework designed to ensures that all the dimensions of a government organisation are considered in context when working on digital services and digital modernisation. Its purpose is to support and enable; reuse, shared 'system' level investment, common understanding, collaboration, and interoperability.

GEANZ is maintained by the Digital Services Branch of Te Tari Taiwhenua - Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) supporting the Government Chief Digital Officer (GCDO) to deliver the Strategy for Digital Public Service and Service Modernisation.

The resources in this dataset are the BETA release April 2024. Models, diagrams, and csv files will be published here to support the development of the GEANZ 2024 framework.
