Grants data is collected from societies who operate class 4 gambling (pokies) in venues such as pubs and taverns. The data includes details of grants that were approved and declined by class 4 societies. As Aotearoa New Zealand’s Gambling Regulator, we are committed to actively releasing data to support communities to understand what proceeds of gambling are returned to the community.

The data is provided by district (Territorial Authority) and at biannual intervals.
