Wairarapa District Health Board

The Wairarapa District Health Board (DHB) was formed in January 2001. It is responsible for providing and funding health and disability services to the population of the Wairarapa.

The Wairarapa DHB covers a region encompassing a large geographic area with a mainly rural low-density population of around 40,000. There are four towns and many smaller settlements in the region.
