Item added from map service (https://mapping.gw.govt.nz/arcgis/rest/services/GW/NRPMap_P_operative/MapServer). This feature class maps the navigation protection areas in Wellington Harbour. It is based on the navigation tracks for incoming and outgoing vessels as derived from GPS coordinates for the pilotage waypoint stations produced by CentrePort and the Harbour Master. The tracks are overlaid with a 0.1 nautical mile (200 m) wide buffer representing an area requiring protection for safe vessel passage.
