Updated quarterly - a full list of Member Terms (Electorate/List etc) for current and past members of the NZ House of Representatives, includes:
* MemberID - a number identifying the Member, corresponding to the same ID in the Open Data Members of Parliament file;
* Name;
* Parliament – the number of the Parliament;
* Party – the Party to which the Member belonged/belongs. Prior to the Party system this may be blank or assigned as Independent (pre-party system). Up until the 1930s some of this data may be inaccurate because of the volatile state of parties during this period;
* Date_Elected – the date on which the Member was elected in date/month/year form. Please note that Microsoft Excel, a commonly used spreadsheet programme, cannot represent dates prior to 1 January 1900;
* Method_of_Election – the way in which the Member was elected, such as General election, by-election, list replacement and so on;
* Date_Vacated – the date on which the Member left Parliament;
* Reason_for_Leaving – the reason for the Member leaving. Retired means they remained a Member until the end of the Parliament and were not a candidate at the subsequent election. Resigned means they left during a Parliament;
* Electorate_List – this field denotes the name of the electorate to which the Member was elected, or if they were a List Member
