Maternity Snapshot 2006: Provisional data

This snapshot provides provisional summarised information on the numbers of women who have given birth in hospital; and the number of liveborn babies that were born in hospital or admitted to hospital following birth outside a hospital setting in the 2006 calendar year. This document uses information reported to the National Minimum Dataset (NMDS).
