This data shows the Outstanding Natural Features and Landscapes (ONFL) from the Regional Coastal Environment Plan (RCEP).Outstanding Natural Features and Landscapes (ONFL) – An area assessed as being an outstanding natural feature and landscape using the criteria contained in Policy 15(c) of the NZCPS and Appendix F set 2 to the RPS. NZCPS Policy 15 directs the avoidance of adverse effects on outstanding natural features and outstanding natural landscapes. These areas are identified on the Regional Coastal Environment Plan maps and summary information on why each area is identified is included in Schedule 3.Operative December 2019.
