Albatross Tracker Interactive Application

When you click “Interactive map” the flightpath and the last location of each bird will be displayed (denoted by the albatross marker). Different birds can be selected by their ID code and can be found under their respective species heading. By clicking on the marker you can see the metadata of the bird.
Individual tracks can range from a nearly a year to a matter of days depending on the performance of the tag. You can see the animated flightpath of a bird by checking “Play flightpath” and then clicking on the play icon located under the timeline.
By checking the box against “Choose by Species/ Life Stage/ Sex” you can see the flightpaths of all the tracked birds. You can then narrow down your selection by species, life stage (breeding, non-breeding, juvenile etc.) and sex.
To download location data, choose a bird/ group of birds (using subset option) in the “Interactive Map” tab first and then click on the “Download button” on the 'Data table' tab.
NOTE: Performance of this app is unreliable in Internet Explorer. If stability issues are encountered, try using a different browser.
