50MAX is a new generation of truck that allows for safe and more efficient transport of freight goods. As part of the 50MAX permitting programme truck operators are requested to inform themselves of where they can and cannot drive.There are four layers that represent the State Highway and local road restrictions where 50MAX trucks are not permitted to travel. Layer Information:Freight RCA Road Restrictions 50MAX - this layer represents the State Highway and Local Road Restrictions where 50MAX trucks are not permitted to travel. As defined by the local Road Controlling Authority and NZTA.Freight SH Restrictions 50MAX - this layer represents the State Highway bridges that 50MAX trucks are not permitted to travel over. As defined by NZTA.Freight RCA Bridge Restrictions 50MAX - this layer represents bridges on local roads that 50MAX trucks are not permitted to travel over. As defined by the local Road Controlling Authority.Freight RCA Programme Inclusion 50MAX - this layer represents the Road Controlling Authorities and their status in relation to inclusion in the 50MAX programme. This layer aims to help operators find out if certain areas are or are not part of the 50MAX programme and if communication with the RCA is required before travel on their local roads.
